Planning a trip to Disney World can get confusing very quickly! Which rides are the best? Do all the rides have height requirements? What rides do I need a FastPass for? Today we will look at all of the Hollywood Studios rides, what the height requirement is for each ride, what the ride experience is like, and what rides you need a FastPass for.
Keep in mind that you can only make 3 FastPass selection in advance. You will choose one from “you should book a FastPass,” and two from “you could book a FastPass” (1 ride from tier 1, and 2 rides from tier 2). Sunset Boulevard
Sunset Boulevard has rides, shows, dining options, shops, and much more! The themed area of the park is based off Sunset Boulevard in Los Angeles, California.
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith takes you on a race through the freeways of Los Angeles! Of course, you will listen to Areosmith on your ride. You must be 48″ to ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. This thrill ride has big drops and is very loud. You should book a FastPass for Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster.

The Twilight Zone Tower Of Terror
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror takes you on a haunted elevator ride. You must be 40″ to ride the Tower of Terror. This thrill ride throws you up and down and is very loud scary. You should book a FastPass for the Tower of Terror.

Hollywood Boulevard
Hollywood Boulevard is the area you will first come to when you enter Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. Here you will find many shops and entertainment.
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway- Opening Spring 2020
Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway will take you on a ride through a cartoon world. This ride will give you a multidimensional experience. takes you on a haunted elevator ride. People of any height will be able to ride Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
Toy Story Land
Toy Story Land is exactly what it sounds like. When you enter this land, you will truly feel like you have been transported into the Toy Story movies. Here you will find rides, entertainment, food, colorful architecture, and so much more!
Toy Story Mania!
Toy Story Mania! gives riders the chance to shoot at moving targets. On this 4-D ride, you will see Toy Story characters. People of any height can ride Toy Story Mania! You should book a FastPass for Toy Story Mania!

Slinky Dog Dash
Slinky Dog Dash is one of the most popular rides at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. On this roller coaster, you will ride Slinky Dog on a thrill ride with some small drops. You must be 38″ to ride Slinky Dog Dash. You should book a FastPass for Slinky Dog Dash.

Alien Swirling Saucers
Alien Swirling Saucers has riders board a toy rocket and spin through space. You must be 32″ to ride Alien Swirling Saucers. You should book a FastPass for Alien Swirling Saucers.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge- Opening August 29th, 2019
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is the newest land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®. This entire land is based off the Star Wars movies. Here you will be able to find new attractions, entertainment, shops, dining options, and so much more. This is going to be a must see for any Star Wars fans.

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run Opening August 29th, 2019
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run will give you flight training and then allow you to fly in the Millennium Falcon. You must be 38″ to ride Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run. FastPasses will not be available for this ride.
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance- Opening December 5th, 2019
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will be opening later this year. Will you join the Resistance to battle the first order? You must be 40″ to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. FastPasses will not be available for this ride.
Echo Lake
Star Tours- The Adventure Continues
Star Tours- The Adventure Continues allows riders to take a 3-D flight. Here you will be able to explore the galaxy, and feel like you are right int he middle of the Star Wars movies. You must be 40″ to ride Star Tours, because the ride does have some small drops. You could book a FastPass for Star Tours on busy days.

These are all of the rides at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®, but keep in mind that rides are not the only things to experience at Walt Disney World® Resort. In addition to the lands listed above, you will also find: Grand Avenue, Commissary Lake, Pixar Place, and Animation Courtyard. These lands have amazing shows, entertainment, shops, dining options, and beautiful sights to see.
Don’t think that you can only use your FastPass selections for the rides. If you are more interested in any of the wonderful shows that Disney’s Hollywood Studios® has to offer, you can use a FastPass for those too.
