One thing that I hear over and over again, is that Epcot® is only for adults. People who believe this are truly missing out on so much magic and fun for the little ones. Maybe people believe this, because of all of the food and drinks that can be found at Epcot®. However, there are also characters at Epcot ®, rides, and other entertainment that kids can enjoy!
If your children are anything like mine, then finding characters at Walt Disney World® Resort is a must! So let’s dive right into finding all the characters at Epcot®.
Keep in mind that the characters and locations listed below are subject to change at any time.
When you first enter Epcot®, you will find Pluto at the Legacy Plaza West. Once you enter Future World and head to your right, you will find Joy and Sadness at Headquarters. Directly next to Headquarters, you will find Baymax at Hiro’s Workshop.
Across from Headquarters and Hiro’s Workshop, you will find Goofy, Daisy Duck, Mickey Mouse, and Minnie Mouse at Epcot® Character Spot.
Note: Character Spot will close starting September 8, 2019. Minnie Mouse will be found at World Showcase Gazebo. Mickey Mouse and Goofy will temporarily be moved to Interventions West. Joy will be moved to another location that has not been announced yet. Daisy Duck will move to American Adventure.
When you head into the World Showcase and head right, you will run into Daisy at the World Showcase Friendship Ambassador Gazebo.
The first country you will come across in the World Showcase is Mexico. You will find Donald Duck in Mexico.
After Mexico, you will find Anna and Elsa in Norway at the Royal Sommerhus. This is the only area at Walt Disney World® Resort where you can find Anna and Elsa. Sometimes you will also be able to find Ariel and Mary Poppins here as well.
Once you pass Norway, you will find Mulan in China. Just like Anna and Elsa, this is the only area at Walt Disney World® Resort where you can find Mulan.
If you keep walking past China, you will come to Snow White in Germany at the Wishing Well.
The American Adventure
Although The American Adventure does not have characters all year round, you might be able to find Santa Claus here during the holiday season.
In Morocco, you will find Aladdin and Jasmine at the Lamps of Wonder. As you are leaving Morocco, you will also find Belle.
Right when you pass Belle, you will come to France. You will find Aurora (Sleeping Beauty) in France.
Continuing on through the World Showcase, your next stop will be the United Kingdom, where you will find many characters at Epcot ®! Winnie the Pooh and his friends, Alice in Wonderland, and sometimes Mary Poppins will be in the United Kingdom.
Character Dining is a great opportunity to see multiple characters at once.
The Garden Grill
Here you can have American Cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while spending time with Chip ‘n’ Dale and some other Disney friends. The Garden Grill is located in Future World.
Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Here you can eat American and Norwegian Cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner while spending time with Disney Princesses. Akershus is located in Norway.
